Sapphire · Hand-finished · SignedFounded in 1987 by master watchmaker Aleksei Sorokin, SOVA began as a conviction: that time itself deserved to be shaped with the same reverence as the rarest metals. In a Geneva atelier no larger than a living room, Sorokin assembled his first movement — 247 components, each finished by hand under a single desk lamp.
Today, SOVA remains independent. Every movement is conceived, developed, and assembled in-house. We produce fewer than 800 timepieces per year — not as a marketing constraint, but as a natural consequence of our standards. Each watch passes through the hands of a single watchmaker from first gear train to final timing adjustment. The name on the dial is earned, never applied.
Experience the Meridian collection in person. Our Geneva salon offers private consultations where every detail can be appreciated — the weight on the wrist, the sweep of the seconds hand, the light across the dial.
